Job Description
Biomedical Engineer duties include inspection and preventive maintenance of NOVAMED USA’s full line of medical devices. This position requires solid mechanical/electro-mechanical skills, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities. The ability to read schematics and PC skills are also necessary.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect and repair of medical products.
- Maintain quality standards to established company requirements and specifications.
- Research and assist in development of new products.
- Produce test comparisons, charts and illustrations to reflect product engineering.
Requirements:
- AA Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
- B.S. Degree in clinical or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- 2-5 years Biomedical Engineering including repair and maintenance of clinical equipment required.
- Ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter with in-depth knowledge of the medical market.
